McKenna never take’s the full claim for the success of Roxie’s Barkery. Roxie’s Barkery would not be what it is today without the help and support from her family. We all bring something different to the table which has helped tremendously with the growth of this business. The biggest and most important thing we all share in common is the love and passion we have for providing your pets with the best of the best! You can fully trust that we hand cut each one of our “Barking Good Biscuits!” with love and the wellbeing of your furry family member in mind. And you can be rest assured that McKenna only curates the best of the best pet products!

  • McKenna

    Owner & Founder

    For as long as she can remember McKenna has had a huge passion and love for animals, especially dogs. She has previously worked at an animal hospital, doggy daycare, completed a year of veterinary technician school and graduated from the Culinary Arts program at her High School.

    Having three dogs and three cats herself she knows first hand how hard it can be to find trustworthy healthy pet treats, which is why she opened Roxie’s Barkery. From McKenna’s years of experience working at an animal hospital, she knew she had the knowledge to offer treats that were not only all-natural but that had health benefits for pups as well. McKenna puts her absolute all into Roxie’s Barkery, you can fully trust that she would not sell anything that she would not personally give to her dogs.

  • Roxie

    Pupmanager , Head of Quality Control, CBO (chief barking officer)

    Roxie is the reason McKenna established Roxie’s Barkery! She is a very spunky beagle mix. McKenna adopted her from Dog Star Rescue in 2020. Roxie loves her job as head taste tester, product tester, and store greeter and takes all of her positions very seriously. If Roxie doesn’t like a biscuit or cake flavor (not a regular occurrence) we don’t sell it! Her “barking good” approval applies to all of the treats, baked goods, and products we sell!

    When Roxie has a day off from being our store greeter or taste tester she loves to go on hikes, walks, car rides, patrol the neighborhood from her living room windows, and take lots of naps!

  • John

    Head Biscuit Baker
    Retail Associate

    John is McKenna's step dad. He has worked in the food service industry for many years! John is now retired and taking on the role of helping McKenna as Roxie’s Barkery continues to grow!

    John is our head biscuit baker. You’ll see him at the Barkery, at events, and sometimes delivering to our many wholesale locations.

  • Ann

    Assistant Baker

    Ann is McKenna's mom. Ann has been a baker for many years, McKenna is so thankful that she has her moms baking expertise.

    With Ann’s years of bakery experience she is very helpful assisting with the completion of new baked goods and biscuit recipes.

    You will see Ann at the Barkery quite often during the busy holiday season helping McKenna frost cookies and bake specialty items!

  • Marinna

    Retail Associate

    Marinna is McKenna’s sister. Since we are a family business our store shifts are often covered by family or close friends!

    Marinna is our retail associate when we are out doing events and pop-ups. You will commonly see her running the store on Saturday’s throughout the summer and holiday season!

    Marinna owns two cats named Luna and Atlas! Although she does not personally own dogs she has been around them her whole entire life and is happy to help you shop for your pups & kitties!

    Marinna has worked in customer service since her very first job and also graduated from the Culinary Arts Program at her High School.

  • Leo

    Taste Tester/ Product Tester

    Leo is a sweet puggle mix! Leo really specializes in savoring the flavor when taste testing our biscuits! He really takes his time to taste all the flavors before he gives his “barking good” approval!

    When Leo has a day off from taste testing he loves to snuggle up on his recliner, look out the living room windows, chew on some yummy chews, and de-fluff a toy or two.

  • Tinsley

    Taste Tester/ Product tester

    Tinsley is a crazy fox red labrador! We can’t say that Tinsley is to great at savoring the flavor like Leo because she really inhales our biscuits, but hey that’s not a bad thing right!?

    When Tinsley has a day off from taste testing she loves to run around outside, go dock diving, go on hikes, do some enrichment, and hang out with her cousin Louie!

  • Louie

    Taste Tester

    Louie is a very energetic boarder collie mix! Louie absolutely loves being apart of the taste testing team! His favorite is our frosty pup-cups!

    When Louie has a day off from taste testing he loves to take walks with his dad (John), play ball, snowshoe during the winter months, run around in his yard, de-fluff toys, and ends every day sitting at the freezer at approximately 6pm waiting for his frosty pup-cup!
